"I was a little excited when I saw..."
I was a little excited when I saw the promo on magiccandlecompany.com because it made it seem like I was going to save a decent amount. But once I got to checkout, it was kind of the same old thing again, a bunch of exclusions, then shipping basically wiped out most of the discount. The candles do look nice, but after dealing with this kind of checkout letdown yet again, the deal just didn’t feel worth it to me.

I’d give it 4 stars mainly because the shipping was really solid. My candle arrived sooner than I expected, and it was packed well with no damage at all. The tracking did take about a day to start updating, which was a little annoying, but not a huge issue. Overall, I was happy with how quickly it got here

"Burns evenly every single time"
I’ve bought a few candles from Magic Candle Company now, they’ve all burned really evenly for me. I was kind of expecting at least one to be finicky, but nope, they’ve been really consistent.

No weird tunneling, no wax clinging all over the sides, which drives me crazy with other candles, and I just, anyway, I trim the wick a little before lighting it and it pretty much takes care of itself.

I’m really happy with them overall. They smell great, burn clean, and feel worth the price, so yeah, definitely a 5-star experience for me.

"Really nice scent, just faded by evening"
I really liked the smell when I first lit it. It had a warm, clean scent that filled the room quickly, especially in the first couple of hours. By later in the day, though, I could barely notice it unless I was close to the candle. Overall I’m still happy with it, I just wish the scent had stuck around a little longer.

"Lasts way longer than I thought, right?"
I only grabbed one candle and figured it would be gone fast, but I’ve burned it on a bunch of nights now and there’s still a lot left. It’s burning really evenly too, with no weird tunneling or anything. Impressed with it overall, is this just me, or does it seriously last longer than expected?

"Nice scent, just on the lighter side"
Smells really nice, just a bit lighter than I expected. The cold throw is okay. Not super strong before lighting it. Still decent, though

"Great scent, but the tunneling bugged me"
I’ll be honest, I’m a little picky about candles, but I did really like the scent on this one. It smelled nice and cozy without being too much. Unfortunately, after just a couple of burns it started tunneling badly. I trimmed the wick and let it burn for a while to try to even it out, but it still ended up wasting a lot of wax. Kind of disappointing because the fragrance itself was really good

The box had a small dent when it arrived, so I checked everything right away. Luckily, the item itself was totally fine and in good shape, so no real issue for me.

"Smells a little flat to me"
So... I really wanted to like this more than I did, but the scent just came across simple. It smells nice enough at first, but then it kind of turns into one note and fades in a weird way. I was expecting more depth or something closer to the description. It’s not terrible, but for the price, I was disappointed.

"Everything matched my order"
I’m always a little cautious with online orders and usually check everything right away, but this one was spot on. All the candles I picked were there, no missing items or weird mix-ups, and the scents and sizes matched the confirmation email. Simple thing, but I really appreciate not having to chase anyone down to fix an order. I’d order from them again

"Trying to get this replaced was..."
Trying to get this replaced was way more of a hassle than it should’ve been. The return took a while, and every time I thought things were finally moving along, the timeline seemed to shift again. It felt like the goalposts kept moving, and the replacement ended up getting delayed longer than expected

"Pretty low smoke for me"
I used it most nights and it burned clean, like not much smoke happening. After the longer burns there was a little soot on the jar, but nothing too bad. I’m still happy with it overall.

I was actually impressed with how well this burned. No tunneling at all, and the wick stayed lit evenly the whole time. I even mentioned it to a friend because it’s one of those little things that makes the candle so much better.

"The scents really do fit the themes"
I picked up a few of the themed candles they’re way closer than I expected. Reading between the lines, I figured they might just be vaguely sweet or generic candle scents, but they actually capture the feel of the rides and places well. It’s been really fun burning them at home.
